How can you drive website traffic up with YouTube? As a Direct Marketing List Broker, I am very biased around utilizing an opt in email campaign to drive your traffic with YouTube since you can provide links in the email message.
You can also drive traffic by posting Tweets from your YouTube videos. You can have your videos right on your home page as a warm welcome to your prospective clients.
Today I wanted to see what others are saying about this topic. Here is what I found:
Here is an article from Social Media Examiner entitled, “3 Ways to Use YouTube to Drive Traffic to your Website.” In the article, they reinforce that YouTube receives 3 billion daily views!! Here are the 3 simple ways that they highlight:
1. Tell People Exactly What to Do – communicate your call to action in your video!
2. Add a Description of your Content in the video description box.
3. Utilize the Call to Action Overlay – this is a banner ad that sits on the lower third of the video to reinforce your call to action.
Here is a YouTube video by Onvizi that describes approaches to online marketing. It highlights how Youtube receives the hundreds of millions of visitors and therefore is a great place to promote your business. It also highlights SMS mobile phone marketing.
There is simply tons of useful information on YouTube; even if you simply point your customers to useful YouTube links, you are still utilizing it in your marketing.
