These are the issues to keep in mind when considering a Telemarketing/Fax Campaign.Phone/Fax lists are more complicated than postal lists for the following reasons:
- Phone & Fax numbers are not as easy to locate as addresses
- The main issue is the Consumer Do Not Call legislation in the USA & Canada. This legislation has impacted upon the quantity of phone records that are available compared with postal records. - With phone lists, it is important to keep in mind the number of callers you are hiring, since this will dictate the quantity of records you order. If you have 10 callers making 50 calls a day, then a list of 5,000 records will probably be too small. If, on the other hand, you have 2 callers, then maybe it would be advisable to start with 2,000 records to keep the list current and more manageable
- With fax lists, it is important to include opt-out verbiage at the bottom of the fax so companies can choose to stop receiving them
