What determines inbound marketing success?
How many of you are familiar with the term “Inbound Marketing“? If most of you nodded, then great! Today, I wanted to take a look at what determines inbound marketing success. What are some of the key criteria?
As a Target Marketing List Broker, I support my clients with outbound marketing such as opt in email campaigns, that I hope will support their inbound marketing efforts by attracting more people to their website.
Let’s take a look at some articles that talk about what determines inbound marketing success.
Here’s an article from B2B Marketing Insider titled “6 Steps to Inbound Marketing Success.” Some of the key issues that the article highlight includes:
1. Create and maintain a powerful website – this is especially important for smaller businesses where there often is not a dedicated person responsible for this. You need to ensure that your site is current and functioning optimally.
2. Generate more traffic through effective blogging and social media activity. Remember, every time you blog, it equates to another web page.
3. Remember to create solid calls to action and then nurture your needs in an automated way.
Here is another article from Marketo titled “How to Build a Better Inbound Marketing Machine – A Blueprint for Success.” The article stresses that it is very important to automate your inbound marketing so that you have time to do other tasks like close deals. For example, you can automate email follow-up – lead nurturing.
I hope that this information has been useful and that it will support your inbound marketing efforts.
